Buzz: Is mein (In this) *pointing to the stomach*
Me: Gate?
Buzz: Haan, nahein to baby bahar kaise aata hei? (Yeah, else how does the baby come out?)

    1. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA … NOW this has made my day .. let me type it again MADE MY DAY…

5pm almost had a boring day about to leave and i read this .. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm Well MOMMY dear a lot of explaining to do… Buzzy’s the great …

  1. ROFL. Tell tell comfy ma where is the gate ? 🙂 😀 😀
My eight year old niece told her mom after having baby sister that ” I know how the baby comes and all that. I have seen it in 3 idiots ! 😛 ” Ab bolo ! 😀 😀

      1. 😀 😀 :D… there exists some mysterious questions in this world that every momma has to go through.. I told Adi that she will figure it out as she grows 🙂

        1. I have a good answer for how/why/from where the baby comes. This was so unexpected that I was lost. Almost made me wish for a c-section. That way I could always show my stomach and say ‘they cut you out’. 😐

          1. Ooh, I was just going to say that! For me, that would be the answer, ‘No gate, nothing, you kept knocking (pretty hard) for a whole day, so they finally cut you out! ‘ 😀

  2. Ha ha..she is so imaginative. I wish we had a ‘gate’ A ‘gate’ to open and let the baby out – I wish it were that simple.

If Buzz is like this, imagine what questions Bugz would come up with !

    1. I know! I wish it was that simple. All the women who have had or are thinking of having a baby would rejoice.

NO NO! I don’t even want to think about what Bugz will come up with.

  3. Hmmm..Good question na Comfy mamma? So next time you cant show her balloons and distract her – so be prepared with the answer – and please do tell me too! :-O I have no clue how to answer a question like that!!

    1. I was about to say that one day soon you will face similar questions. Then I read that you are asking me for help. Welcome to the ‘Clueless Moms’ group 😀

  4. ROFL she never fails to entertain us 😆

Comfy at least Buzz is still at an age where she can be distracted with balloons. The 7 year old one in my place is driving me nuts with his questions coz just yesterday he learnt from school that girls and boys have different private parts 😳 Since then he has been spreading this newly acquired ryan to anyone who comes to our home 😡 😥

  5. I can’t stop giggling at work place at the risk of gaining weird looks from colleagues :0)

Good luck Comfy as balloons will not distract her forever. I did have a C-section and they know that the doc cut my tummy to get them out of there 🙂

  6. Lol…so did you find the gate?? I must say though, for many years as a kid I did think you just cut open a woman’s stomach to get the baby out. When I found out where they really come out from, I didn’t want to have kids!

    1. It is scary, it is so very scary. I can understand why women do not want to have kids or why a lot of women opt for a c-sec directly.

  7. Since we can not tell her about the real gate or rather door you say yes we have a gate which can be opened by a doctor only 😉

    1. So not going to work. What if she ask where that gate is? And why only the doctor can open it? More trouble that way, me thinks 😐

  8. Well I am getting expert at what you just did…distracting my daughter each time I don’t want to give her (for she yet can’t talk coherently) anything she desperately wants.
When the distraction trick doesn’t work, tell her that with the help of a doctor the baby comes out of the tummy. The less stress you’ll give on your reply the lesser probability of her asking a chain of questions 😉 😉 (rest let’s keep thinking for an answer till we find one 😉 😉 )

    1. I was reading somewhere that asking what they think is a good way to go. Apparently kids have a simple explanation in their mind and when they ask such questions they want to reaffirm their answers. The trick then is to ask them what they think is the answer.

So going to try that out next time.

  9. Wow that is so logical?! How come kids are so curious about such things at such age?? I am entering this questions phase with my son and I am already terrorized 😦

  10. I had a Caesarean so I told my Daughter the plain truth. Doctor aunty cut momma’s tummy to get my baby out. She was so fascinated by this and feels that her mom is some superhero who got her tummy cut to get DD out. He he.

  11. Err..ummm…

Ok, you asked help from them wise people only..so I need not worry ! 😀

Keep showing her the balloons and all shiny things until she is a couple more years old. Then, maybe spin an adventure story where the baby ‘slides’ in a ‘tunnel’ and come out with help from the doctor uncle.

    *silly grin *

Gosh, that still doesn’t sound good enough. I give up. Tell me when you have a good answer, so that I can borrow, pls?

    1. You call yourself not wise and still come up with some kind of a solution 🙂 Need to build on this. It just might work, what with her love for slides and tunnels 😀

  12. gate huh? 😀

comfy, any embarrassment of yours will be beaten by what buzz will feel when she is an adult and reads this 😀 (and she’ll never forgive you for this :P)
